Tfp Ultra Magnus x pregnant Fembot reader, both are conjux, when the chapter arrives where Predaking breaks Magnus's hand, the reader rescues him, but ends up in a fight with Predaking, but he began to see her as his Queen, and wanted to take her away.
TFP! Ultra Magnus' S/O vs Predaking
Character: Ultra Magnus (Transformers Prime) Requester: @zinnia1506 A/N: There is no mention of the Reader being 'pregnant' (carrying), but you can imagine it being true. I just couldn't link it very well ⚠️ Spoilers/Trigger Warnings for: Mentions of war, fighting, complete body harm (hand being crushed-no gore tho), and maybe some underlying yandere behavior from Predaking ⚠️
╔══════════════════════════════════════════╗
╚═════ Ultra Magnus ═══════════════════════════╝
🎖️ Ultra Magnus did not like to show his emotions. They were in a war for crying out loud! But when it came to you, his longtime friend and current sparkmate, he couldn't help but let you see behind his mask
🎖️ It wasn't much of a change, but you got to see how some things got to him, like the loss of your home planet and you went on your own on his ship before settling with Team Prime on Earth
🎖️ As you spent days and then weeks on the muddy planet, you grew close with the humans your Cybertronian allies were close. Though, you were closest with the human named Miko Nakadai, she reminded you of yourself before the war
🎖️ Speaking of the war, it was hard to know that the Decepticons had boosted up their power with a Predacon, how they got a hold of a fragment of their CNA you have no clue
🎖️ Anyways. Because of how low the energon sources were getting for you all, your team had gone out and begun to hoist them back to your base, and while the others went back to the base, you stayed with Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus inside the mine
🎖️ And that was a big mistake
🎖️ You had seen the Predacon launch himself at your friend and sparkmate, and while Magnus grabbed you and helped you get away from where the Cybertronian-beast landed, you readied your weapon, a long spear, and began to fight alongside them
🎖️ The fear you had as the mechs all clashed and knocked one another aside as, like humans say, dolls, was something immense. And it only got worse when the 'Con managed to get the two of them practically wasted by using the surrounding rocks to his advantage
🎖️ As Predaking landed on Magnus' servo, your face went blank with shock. How dare he.
🎖️ While Predaking scoffed at the pain he caused Ultra Magnus by crushing his servo into pieces, he began his small walk towards the Forge of Solus Prime
"And here I was just beginning to tolerate you." You heard Wheeljack say as he laid down in pain.
"It's been an honor serving alongside you, soldier." Ultra Magnus answered.
🎖️ As Predaking lifted the Forge, you began to stand, lodging your spear's blade into the cave's walls before loosening your rarely-used seeker wings before taking a deep breath to calm yourself down
🎖️ The sound of the Forge being torn into two parts making your anger surge more, especially after Predaking threatened your sparkmate
"Prepare to perish." Lifting his clawed servo, Predaking was launched aside as you threw your spear, a large rock being attached to it.
"Magnus, Wheeljack! Stand and get out of here! I'll hold this guy off." You said, transforming into your alt-mode, a McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle, and began to fire your AIM-9M Sidewinders at the larger Cybertronian.
"Y/N. We're not leaving you alone with him!" Wheeljack yelled as he tried to stand.
"Oh for spark's sake! Go!" You growled, flying at the Predacon and de-transforming to kick him in the face, knocking him into more rubble deeper in the cave system.
🎖️ Hearing Optimus' voice ring through the cavern made you relax slightly before turning back to your opponent as he stood from the rocks and looked at you with wide optics and a small smile growing on his face
"What are you smiling about, 'Con?" You asked, an expression of determination and annoyance on your own face.
"You're strong... stronger than the others... you must be... you must be mine." Predaking said, standing up proudly as he said this.
🎖️ Your optics widened as you began to tremble, remembering hearing those words once from a certain Warlord before the war even began, leaving your home as a floating ball of scrap metal
"Y/N, hurry!" Optimus yelled, snapping you out of your trance.
🎖️ Transforming again, you flew after your leader, who was carrying both Ultra Magnus and Wheeljack on his shoulders. And as you exited the cave, you blasted the rocks above the entrance, hopefully slowing the Predacon down more
»–•–«
🎖️ Sitting in front of Optimus while Ultra Magnus' servo was being operated on by Ratchet, you shivered, which made your leader look at you with a saddened expression
"I know..." He started. "You remembered that day with Megatron, Y/N."
"I just- I can't hear those words the same. Him saying it was enough for my spark to bear! But now, now I have that beast's words being mixed with his..." You said, holding your helm in your servos as you cried.
"Y/N, look at me."
🎖️ Looking up from your servos, you felt Optimus wipe your lubricant that fell from your optics with his own servo. He then looked at you and smiled gently, opening his arms in a gesture for a hug
🎖️ You hugged him as he hushed you and allowed you to weep as much as you wished, emotions were normal, so it was only normal for you to express them so openly
"Don't worry, Ultra Magnus will make a fine recovery. I'm sure of it." The Prime said.
"Thank you," you sniffed, "Optimus. Thank you."
"It is no problem. Now, I recommend you take some time to recharge. After all, fighting such an opponent must take some energy out of you. I shall awake you when Ultra Magnus also awakens, alright?"
"Yes."
🎖️ Optimus smiled as you walked off to recharge, most likely in your alt-mode in a nearby bunker. You really were scared though, weren't you? He was going to need to tell the others of the issue sometime. But for you, you needed to let this information finally calm down in your processor

Hey folks! Been sitting on this one for two weeks, done and ready, not wanting to release so close to the Behemoths and just reveling in the fact that for once I have a small stockpile of brews that are done/close to done. It's nice to take a break and not worry about what's next.
Anyway, this is a complete rework of my Transformation Cog item I did a few years back. For those not familiar with the source material or just need a refresher, the Transformation Cog, or T-Cog, is from Transformers and is the organ that allows a Cybertronian to transform into (and scan in later continuities) an alternate mode.
The original version was a reworked version of the Druid's Wildshape feature, with a focus on beast forms rather than vehicular ones. This time, I've gone the other direction and made various types of vehicular alt mode, each for a different purpose and giving you related benefits. A focus of this new version was, as with most of my reworks, refinement of the old idea and simplifying its mechanics to be easier to use. I think I've accomplished that goal, but we'll see how she plays.
I pulled a lot from the Shifter race from Ebberon, as well as the official Transformers RPG by Renegade Games, which is a pretty robust RPG in its own right, though a touch complicated for my tastes (maybe worth a System Spotlight in the future). Eventually, I would love to use this new version as a base for a beast mode T-Cog, and make a Cybertronian lineage that incorporates perhaps an even more simplified version of what I have now. Something to think about.
Anyway, that's it from me, hope y'all like the update! Stay safe, don't forget to love each other, and I'll see you next time.

Chubformers drabble #182!
Characters: Bumblebee & Grimlock (RiD)
Word count: 1.3k
Bumblebee hissed under his breath, his frame tensed and his servos tentative as he struggled to fight back against the beast of a bellyache roiling in his tanks. It wasn’t often that a bit of rushed refueling left him feeling worse for ware, and usually it was the opposite, but today just had to be one of those days.
Earth was no Cybertron, but at least most things were similar enough to keep him happy. He would do anything to keep the new quality of energon in their rations, but everything came with a downside, even good fuel. It hadn’t been long before that he was kicking back with a different team and running off the fumes of watery, liquidy energon, and now here he sat, on the complete opposite end of the spectrum and suffering from the curse of breaking old habits and making do with the improvements granted to them.
He didn’t ever want to go back to the way things had been before. Working on empty sucked, and so did watching his fellow bots starve along with him. It was just so easy to get caught up in the moment and lose himself to the muscle reactions he’d grown used to. It didn’t make the bellyaches any easier, though, and it definitely didn’t leave him feeling any more satisfied in the long run.
Bumblebee often tried to spend a good chunk of his nights together with the crew he’d put together, but sometimes, he just needed a bit of space. It was always easier to explain away his waddling and the bloated belly he sported as some strange bout of swelling and a case of low social battery, and with his track record, most of his fellow Cybertronians knew to leave him be and let him have his space. He said most, of course, because… well, there was always one.
There was always going to be one, and that one was always going to be Grimlock.
Grimlock had a much different background than Bumblebee, and the old scout could understand that to an extent. He was bolder, louder, bigger, and a hell of a lot more reckless. Bumblebee had his moments, but he had grown over time, and now, the big dino mech’s wilder tendencies seemed absolutely foreign to him.
The ground shook beneath him before Grimlock came into view, and while Bumblebee tried to hide the growing source of discomfort away under a layer of an arm and a servo, the brutish mech continued on straight for him. He looked as happy as a bot could be after a successful day and getting a tank full of good fuel, and secretly, the poor scout almost wished he could feel the same. He was still the one stuck on the sidelines and sporting a bellyache, though, and from experience, it would be a long while before things settled in.
“Bumblebee! There you are!” Grimlock’s voice boomed, both rustling the trees and the startling the wildlife in the near vicinity. “I thought you had left us, but no! Here you are, hiding out under the trees.”
His alt-mode was far too big to come any closer, and for a brief moment, Bumblebee was reassured that Grimlock was going to be trapped by the overhanging branches and forced to head back towards their campsite. He had transformed early that afternoon and still had yet to return to his root mode, having claimed more often than not that the dino shape made his victories all the sweeter.
Energon tasted better when it was chomped down with a massive helm like that, Bumblebee supposed, and with a painful twinge from his tanks, he curled in all the tighter against himself.
“Ah…” he winced through the attempt at hiding his discomfort and greeting Grimlock in a way that would politely give off a please-leave-me-the-frag-alone vibe. The big mech wasn’t one for subtlety, which made it all the harder. “Hey, Grim… sorry, I just, ah—“
He was cut off by the sound of transformation, and seconds later, Grimlock stood in his root mode and loomed overhead. His expression was blank, but his mouth was turned in a frown, and it was clear enough that whatever attempts Bumblebee made at explaining his absence were not going to be taken lightly.
“You left the group,” Grimlock rumbles out, his helm tilted to the side. “You don’t ever leave so early.”
Great. Leave it to Grimlock to notice a frequent pattern between his regular absences and the ones caused by a painful bout of upset tanks.
Bumblebee’s cheeks grew warm as he searched his processor for a reasonable excuse. It was perfect timing, really, because as he tried to speak, his belly started to ache again, and the strange sound to escape was something mixed between a wheeze and a long, drawn out whine. Grimlock was down on the ground and at his side in an instant, his curious optics bright with concern as he looked the suffering mech over.
“Bumblebee?” he asked, lifting a nervous servo and letting it hang in the air as he awaited reassurance, an explanation, really, anything other than the pained expression the old scout is giving him.
“It’s fine,” Bumblebee managed to say, “I’m fine, I—argh. Just a bit of a tank ache, that’s all. Nothing to worry about, Grimlock, really.”
Well, he supposed it was something to worry about, because… ah, Grimlock was giving him that look again. The confused, concerned look. The one that told him he was going to have to explain exactly what was wrong with him or else they were going to be calling up the nearest medic in the next few seconds.
“Ate too fast,” he explained, a servo pressed tightly to his belly and the strained expression further showing his discomfort. “Not… mmph, not used to the good stuff. That’s all.”
Grimlock’s frown depended. “The energon hurts you?”
“Yeah,” Bumblebee managed to nod. “Pretty much.”
It seemed like enough of an explanation to him. If he were Grimlock, he would have been more than happy with leaving well enough alone. He wasn’t Grimlock, unfortunately, which meant Grimlock was going to be stomping the rest of the way over, dropping down next to him hard enough to shake the whole earth, and…
…subsequently doing none of that.
To his surprise, Grimlock was gentle—very, very gentle. The big mech crouched down slowly, taking care to leave space between himself and his fellow ailing Autobot. His servos were bridging the gap before Bumblebee could stop him, and despite his expectations, their touch was gentle. A massive servo spanning the entire expanse of his aching belly was better than two servos that had made no progress, he supposed, which meant when Grimlock started stroking his servo over the swell of Bumblebee’s belly, he couldn’t help but relax into the touch.
“Ahh… you—…” he tried to say, but the tender pressure of digits the size of his palm were simply too distracting.
It was nice, of course, but it was completely unexpected. Grimlock seemed happy to help, and the several expressions he’d flipped through in the span of a few minutes talking to Bumblebee had finally settled into a stern, focused frown. He was committed to helping now, and nothing was going to stop him. Not that Bumblebee even wanted to stop him, really… he could hardly find it in himself to stay sitting upright.
He almost started to regret retreating from the groups to deal with his aching tanks, especially if this was the sort of help that awaited him. Grimlock was gentle, surprisingly, and he was concerned, even more surprisingly. The belly rub was nice, and it was soothing, and against all odds it actually helped, like… a lot.
“You relax,” Grimlock demanded, his touch growing firm for the slightest moment as he pushed Bumblebee back until the poor, ailing scout finally allowed himself to lie down. “I will help.”
And help he did. By the time the worst of the bellyache had passed, Bumblebee was already drifting off into a pain-free recharge.

I have recently encountered this paper, and decided to write on the differences between the variant they have identified, and the one I am aware of. I will be using their original text as reference, so go and check them out if you'd like to.
https://www.tumblr.com/jennywolfgal/725465545646931968/bestiary-werewolf?source=share
"Werewolves are large predators that're the result of a rabies derived virus dubbed TLV (Therianthropic Lupiform Virus) that overrides the afflicted host's genome into becoming a bloodthirsty killing machine, or kills them outright if proven too weak to survive."
The variant I have encountered seems to be rarely if ever cause death upon infected individuals. In fact it protects the host, repairing any damage to their tissue through rapid cellular regeneration. Patients have regrown entire limbs in the matter of months.
"Being facultative bipeds, they find it quite easy and comfortable switching to bipedal and quadrupedal forms of locomotion, what isn't as comfortable however is the agony of the transformation, which in contrast to folklore, myth, and pop culture, is gradual and permanent."
The variant I have experience with does not transition between locomotion modes while in canid form. Upon completing their metamorphosis, they resemble canis lupus completely. Transformation is painless and even pleasant, though initially terrifying. The metamorphosis is rapid (several minutes down to a few seconds) and temporary to a degree (the patient can transition at will, or instinctively during threat), while the patients experience lasting changes, those are never obvious and visible. This makes me believe the folklore myth might have been influenced by this variant.
"the furred coat of infected match the host's original hair color and some outlines of the head hair can still be visible"
No hair has been observed in canid form. The fur coloration is rarely determined by the host's hair color, but rather it is based on the genetic makeup bestowed by the condition.
"to the growth of a mesocephalic snout that looks superficially canine, save for the lack of whiskers, philtrum, and rhinarium."
The snout is virtually indistinguishable from that of a wolf, it has whispers, philtrum, and rhinarium.
"Obviously the laws of physics will demand for the infected to seek out copious amounts of protein to gain the mass for growth, often hoarding acquired unconsumed meats with them as they isolate themselves for later consumption to further complete their transformation."
The size of the variant in canid form matches that in hominid form. They are known to hide food for later, but that occurs following the completion of the metamorphosis, and appears to be part of their natural carnivorous diet. They usually do not excavate the remains, as they prefer fresh kills and will rather take out another prey item. Their usual prey is extremely common, as they mainly predate upon "homo sapiens." This is a possibly cause of concern, as following their first transformation, there have not been any identified means to dispatch of, or even injure one. At least not available to humans, though they do appear vulnerable to interspecific conflict.
"Similar to Vampirism and the Human Zombic Virus, the transformation's facilitated by the infected going into a comatose state, though due to the more drastic changes induced to the host's form, occurs during the later stages."
No comatose has been observed, the patient is awake and conscious. While the transformation is painless, the victim often expresses extreme degrees of distress due to observing their body's metamorphosis.
"Despite their rabid bloodlust brought on by the virus and the high metabolic demands, thinking them all as mindless beasts can be proven a fatal error, especially for specimens that met and formed packs with other infected (whom they'll be neutral towards, even at recently infected who've yet to really undergo their transformation, passively ignoring them once sensing their condition, only lashing out if physically provoked or threatened), often displaying a frightening cunning such as targeting the wheels and engines of vehicles, or even power lines, satellite disks, and antennae."
This appears to be in agreement with my research. They are capable of luring out prey into ambushes.
"While there's no known cure for Lycanthropy, there's nothing short of treatments that can at least ease the pressure, if not outright staving off the transformation process for months or even over a year, such as wolfsbane/monkshood with its sedative properties and silver, both of which are ironically used to slay infected in the past due to monkshood's high toxicity and the Werewolf's allergic reaction to silver."
No means of dispatching the variant have been identified.

Heya! Glad you liked the song! Sometimes songs can be a really good source of inspiration, haha) I have another music recommendation — "Rise" and "Gods" by League of Legends. These ones are cool too!
Got me an idea of Wheeljack vs Predaking fight. Like Jackie fighting him in his hybrid form or full beast mode if he ever goes through full transformation. I imagined that his beast mode like Night Fury being really fast and shooting plasma at the enemies.
And damn... When I think about Miko and Bulkhead I wonder how would they both feel when they see Wheeljack's mutilated body. How would they react? How would they feel about it, especially Bulk? Would they be scared of him? And what would Jackie think when he sees their fear of him?
Feel free to tell me I'm wrong in some things, I'm just sharing my ideas with you 😉 Who knows, maybe it will help you to get your own ideas for your AU)
P.S.: tried to send this ask before but network error decided otherwise, haha)
Hey!
Sorry for the late answer (life ya know)
But I'll definitely be giving those songs a listen >:)
I won't lie, I'm gonna be .... what's the word.
Channeling? Ya know when like someone expresses their emotions through a character by fanart or fanfic? I don't remember, lol
But yeah imma be channeling alot of anger and rage into BeastJack >:]
1, because yeah
2, because yeah! It makes sense! Who wouldn't be upset at being painfully experimented on and coming out not recognizing yourself because you've been so disfigured
That's one of my main focuses with this story, to be honest. Channeling that rage that Wheeljack should have had the liberty to express more freely. Not only because of everything he's gone through pre-experiment, but because of what he'll inevitably go through and have to face afterward.
He'll have to face the fact that he no longer looks or acts like himself before. That his friends are more than likely going to be afraid of him (maybe not Miko, I think she'd find his new form sick as hell).
It's going to be a lot. I don't doubt that at least one of the bots is going to shoot at him upon first sight. It can trigger a pretty nasty fight or flight response.
And it'll more than likely leave Wheeljack as a rogue. The only people I see going after him would be Miko and Bulkhead (Bulkhead after some convincing by Miko because of that belief of his that "Jackie always comes back").
It leaves room to explore the idea that these bots are so out of tune with emotions because of so many years living and surviving a war that has ultimately led to them pushing their feelings aside for the sake of the battle.
(P.S. I got all of your asks lol, I admire your determination ♡♡)

hmmm, steven universe/transformers crossover set during just after the end of the original series, focusing on Grimlock as a newly born Transformer created specifically to be a Decepticon war machine but avoids being indoctrinated, becoming a playful though fierce fighter who is a lovable bruiser and forms a close friendship with Steven, but becomes deeply conflicted as he discovers his true origin as a instrument of destruction and seeing the horrors of Decepticon violence and discovers remnants of Autobot philosophy and in a critical moment, foreswears all Decepticon allegience by violently slamming an Autobrand into the Decepticon insignia forced on him, declaring himself an Autobot as the Autobots begin to resurface
okay so, longer story time
in this idea, the Transformers civil war predates the Gems doing much of anything, and in fact the Gems were created by the Quintessons, with the Diamond's actions mostly being unthinkingly following the orders they were given without thought to the actual purpose of those orders
the Autobots and Decepticons fought at one point on Earth before leaving or going dormant (with several living as humans); at one point the Decepticons created a massive complex to create new Transformers in time, but it broke down, though samples of Energon associated with specific Primes are present, presented as magical in nature with most Gems going 'DO NOT TOUCH IT'.
Steven's powers serve as an energy source, waking up the factory; it causes massive devastation, and winds up creating several Transformers, in this case the Dinobots; they bear the Decepticon brand due to having been made as Decepticons, though they don't understand the context. Their names and beast modes are not initially clear, but after they spend some time as a bunch of rowdy and borderline feral berserkers, the emphasis put on them scaring the hell out of the Gems, but they're avoiding talking about it.
Eventually the truth comes out: it is revealed that Decepticons are monsters. Unspeakably evil destroyers enthralled to a dark god of undeath and universal apocalypse, treated as eldritch horrors whose presence begins the end of everything, and this batch of strange robots are remnants of monsters that should have stayed dead, with the Gems fearing that their destructive tendencies (contrasted, by this point, with their genuine moments of impulsive kindness and vague memories that weren't programmed right) will make them monsters
in panic and anger at their apparent natures, the young transformers come upon the energon deposits again, trying to reconcile that they're monsters. The black energon winds up being broken and dousing them, and it floods their bodies with transformative energies; aspected to Onyx Prime, father-mother to all beasts, they assume beast modes and become the Dinobots proper, going on a rampage as they are overwhelmed with the fact that they're monsters, inside and out; born to kill, and now with bodies only good for killing
this culminates in Steven reaching out to them, trying to pull them back from their new forms... and realizing there's nothing to pull back from. They're not monsters like corrupted Gems, not tormented and ruined people trapped in their own suffering. They're not abominations, they're just... people. He reaches out to them as they decompress, struggling to accept that these forms feel right, and he tells them:
this is just who they are. They're not monsters, they're just... people. This is just who they are, and its nothign to be ashamed of.
Not long after this, the Energon's activity draws the attention of the worst possible test case, the Decepticons. The actual nature of the Great War is unclear but the Decepticons are moving in secret, and arrive in force, a massive army of Vehicon drones under the command of the elite Combaticons, whom quickly instigate a massive fight with the intention of harvesting Earth, now that it proves it is rife for creating more Decepticon soldiers.
They are repelled, but only barely, and are presented as an unknowable force that will casually kill; not because they are mislead, not because fear has driven them mad, but because they want to hurt people. As their first encounter with their kind, almost killed after they impulsively defend the puny organics, the Dinobots (at this point, not using their proper name but perhaps euphemistically called Maximals by Steven) are crushed. Their kind really are monsters.
Eventually, they and the Gems venture into the faciltiy where they were made, hoping to find some information to use there. They find archives, meant to indoctrinate Decepticons, but at the last minute it was sabotaged, and instead there is a message by some unknown foe of the Decepticons, but heavily implied to be Wheeljack and Ratchet. They couldn't undo the process but they could corrupt the indoctrination and information uploading, so that whatever was born would not be made a soldier for their ancient foes.
The Dinobots see these figures, so much like the Decepticons but... different. They are kind, they are patient, and they went to all this just to give the products of this facility a chance to make their own decisions. They, and the Gems, learn the nature of the War; that the Decepticons and another faction rebelled against their creators, and the Decepticons wanted to conquer all life so nothing could threaten then again, and the other faction said no, this is WRONG, and fought them.
They learn of a new concept; of freedom being the right of all living things, that it was the responsibility of the strong to fight conquerors and tyrants...
And that no matter what they were, what really mattered was their own choices. Even if they were made to be killers, they didn't have to be. They could choose to define themselves.
The biggest of the Maximals, the big t-rex, looks at the hated Decepticon brand, and confers with his friends, and eventually they come out with a brand, red hot, and with a specific design.
To the Gem's shock, they brutally plunge the brand onto their insignias, destroying it; metaphorically declaring that they renounce their Decepticon origins and instead take up a new mantle. Even if they're the only surviving Transformers outside the Decepticons, they'll still do the right thing and protect the world; protect the small things, who can't fight back against something stronger than them.
The Decepticon insignias are gone, and in its place is a solemn face, a religious symbol of a god all but forgotten, the emblem of a faction dedicated to freedom, battling tyranny, and protecting the weak.
The term Autobot might not mean anything anymore, declares the big tyrannosaur bot, that's fine. Then if the Decepticons come back, they'll learn to fear the Maximals, to fear the Dinobots.
(Many lightyears away, blue optics flare open as the Matrix of Leadership awakens, sensing something they never dreamed would happen.
New sparks have ignited, and continued the fight, and to the stars, call out for their spiritual kin to meet them.
The call is given:
So speaks Optimus Prime, there is now a beacon for them to call home, for someone needs their help.)

My 5 Favorite Bayverse Transformer Designs
5. Dark of the Moon - Shockwave

I'm not usually a fan of Transformers without an earth mode but this was just so badass. They not only made him a scientist but also a bounty hunter that hunts down his targets. His arm cannon is just perfect to me, he can change ammunition types with a pull of a lever from large blasts to smaller yet multiple missiles. His face is menacing with a insect like maw snaring out orders. He's even accompanied by a massive monster he created known as the Driller Bot forged from his fallen enemies and now a rampaging beast. I especially love the ribcage design in his chest, really gives him an alien appearance.
4. Dark of the Moon - Que (Wheeljack)

Personally an underrated character in the movies, yes I understand the problem with him being Wheeljack. Mainly the fact he looks nothing or sounds nothing like how he does in the original source material, but I don't care. I absolutely love the Albert Einstein look they ave him, I'll admit I don't see him as Wheeljack but more of a separate character "Que". He actually invented things to assist the autobots like battle modes for their vehicles, armor, weapons and tools for battle. They even gave him a lab coat look on his waist with some car interior and how he's just wearing tools on him just in case. Shame they killed him off would've loved to see more from him, rest in peace Que.
3. Revenge of the Fallen - Mixmaster

A good reason why I love the Bayverse designs is the USE of kibble from Alt modes to robot modes and Mixmaster is a great example of creative kibble use. Basically making the entire back of the truck become his arms which are equipped with massive shields for defense against enemy attacks and projectiles. To balance out this wall they have his a massive artillery cannon on his back which he needs to do a handstand to actually use it and it must pack a serious punch. His vehicle mode also comes with a decepticon insignia on the mixer and a custom hood ornament which was unnecessary but happy they gave him it. Plus he gets an upgrade from G1 cause instead of being the foot/leg of Devastator he gets to be the frickin head, my favorite constructicon.
2. Transformers 2007 - Brawl

I see Brawl as the weapon specialist of the decepticons, an equal to ironhide given to how many weapons they manage to fit on both his robot and tank mode. The tank treads and mine sweepers on his torso is yet another great example is creative kibble management, even storing tank barrels on his and rocket pods on his shoulders. His squishes head design looks grumpy and old, giving off a vibe like he takes his job seriously, managing to take on a group of soldiers and autobots but his death in the first movie. If Barricade got a redesign I'm the Last Knight based off a cop,I wonder if Brawl survived maybe he would've been based off a sergeant or a general.
Transformers 2007 - Blackout

This right here is my favorite decepticon NO my favorite transformers to ever exist. The very first transformer to be seen in live action and he singlehandedly annihilated an entire military base. His kibble of the helicopter appearing as a bulking vest decorated for battle, even using the helicopter blades as a kind of cape with the motor above his head. He even is given a minicon Scorpinoks who can be launched and stored from his back, it can be used for scouting or filtration in enemy lines for a sneak attack. Blackout is a soldier who tends to get his orders done, his isn't a fool like his massive younger brother Grindor who tumbles Everytime he lands almost falling over. Blackout is equipped with weapons such as the rear propeller as a spinning saw, miniguns, chest turret and powerful waves/pulses of energy. Ever sense I was a child Blackout has been my favorite for years even with his limited screentime, I praise the bay films for hooking me into the transformers franchise and giving me something to enjoy.

hello dearie 🌈
8. common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about
"Bumblebee is minor coded". I've seen this opinion applied to every iteration of Bumblebee, including IDW, which- come on now. That's an adult. But even when it is usually applied, like TFA, G1, and Bayverse- I feel like the idea still can't hold up. TFA Bee literally goes to the same military training most of the cast was a part of, works in the same small repair crew too, and I don't see anyone saying Bulkhead is a child, or ironhide, or strongarm/shockwave (SPOILERS! 🙀). Bayverse being 'minor coded' just feels ableist because the only thing I've seen people cite for that is the fact he's non-verbal. and then G1, I feel just applies to any TF characters and iterations of Bumblebee- I.E., he appears to act 'childlike'. All the characters are written for children to view, relate to, and look up to. We're not going to have any of them, except the comics, acting like full grown adults. Like lets be real, we're a bunch of Autistic adults watching a cartoon for 10 and under- the characters are not going to be acting 100% rationally and will be whimsical and childlike.
22. your favorite part of canon that everyone else ignores
THE FACT THAT TRANSFORMERS EVOLVED TO BECOME SMALLER OVER TIME AFTER INTERACTING WITH HUMANS!!!!!!!!!! (source: beast wars). Like the maximals and predacons were already human size or only twice that size before they gained their beast modes
23. ship you've unwillingly come around to
very rarely will i gain a twinge of fondness when looking at G1 Megastar fanart. Emphasis on rare, because most content of them together is complete garbage. But, there is something comforting in thinking of them as being friends- and i wish there was more iterations of megatron and starscream atleast liking eachother a *little* bit. But, I don't know if we will ever get that. It feels like each show they try and go with the (fandom) audience's expectations that Megatron is just mean to Starscrean for no reason and/or try to make an abuse plotline. Which, I'm not saying is bad (if done correctly + in a way that is appropriate for children to view and understand or atleast presented in a non-confusing way). I'm personally happy with what we got in Armada and IDW with the angst and complex dynamic. I'd like something else now

Phase Two: Beasts from Beyond Time Link to phase one: https://www.tumblr.com/clean-casual-analysis/743497764011458560/how-id-ruin-it-transformers-part-two?source=share
The first act of phase two starts with the autobots having the advantage over the decepticons for the first time in years. Many top decepticons were killed by Nemesis, the lifeguard squadron is succeeding in its mission to save lives, and the ascenticons are wondering if an alliance with the autobots is needed to overthrow Megatron. But then, seemingly from nowhere, a group of highly skilled and unnaturally powerful cybertronians come to aid the decepticons. They’re secretive and seem to have an agenda of their own, but Megatron only cares that they choose to help him. It would be revealed that this group, who call themselves terracons, are servants of Unicron from the possible future known as the Age of Beast Machines. (See my lore post about that) The terrorcons have gone back in time to ensure that their fallen master has total victory in the past. But their plans are foiled by an unexpected arrival.
The second act is the arrival of the two groups Maximals and Predacons from the Age of Beast Machines. (The Axalon and the Darksyde) The two allied forces wish to stop the terrorcons before they alter history to the point of destruction of their timeline. Little do the bots and cons know, the two leaders of the maximals and predacons secretly plan on depowering/eliminating Unicron while he still slumbers, despite that potentially destroying their timeline. Once that deed is done, it wouldn’t be long before the predacons led by their Megatron betrayed the maximals and joined the decepticons. Using a secretly stolen data disk of history, the predacons try to prevent autobot victories before they happen. The maximals, led by Optimus Primal, aid the autobots in stopping the traitorous predacons.
The third act brings the entrance of a group of ancient cybertronians that once worked with Nova Prime. Their leader, Jhiaxus, presents a copy of the matrix. This copy has the capability of trapping and harnessing the full power of Unicron. Phase two ends on a cliffhanger, with Beast Megatron using this matrix to turn his namesake into Galvatron, create a vehicon army by the billions, and reformate the entirety of Cybertron into a mobile battleship for galactic conquest. The autobots and ascenticons must join forces if they hope to succeed.
The maximals that join the Lifeguard squadron: Given that most maximals on the Axalon are scientists and explorers, there isn’t much military might to go around. But at the request of Jazz, Optimus Primal offered what he could to what he believed to be a good cause.
Espianoge specialist and Axalon chef: Rattrap. The young chef turned spy in training isn’t a coward, he just doesn’t want to die. The only reason he joined the maximals is brecause his girlfriend, a scientist named Botanica, insisted that he use his skills to help others. As chef, he cooks meals for both cybertronians and organics alike. As an espionage specialist, his small size and talent with explosives make him indispensable. Cynical and disrespectful, Rattrap’s smart mouth attitude makes him hard to like. But when the chips are down, he shows dedication to the maximal cause of helping others.
Alt mode: Bio mechanical rat.
Inspiration: Beast Wars/Machines Rattrap
Notes: I love Rise of the Beasts, but Rattrap not being in it was a crime.
Bodyguard and warrior: Transmutate. Born among a group of unique warriors known as the fossilizers, Transmutate is a deadly combatant despite her timid nature. This is mostly due to her hypersonic scream ability, but she’s also handy with a club as well. Curious and kindhearted, the maximals were a perfect fit for Transmutate. While she has trouble socializing with her peers, her boundless cheer and surprising power are invaluable.
Alt mode: T-rex skeleton. (ala her Kingdom toy)
Inspiration: Beast Wars and Kingdom
Notes: Autism coding from collector’s club stories included!
Scout and tracker: Cybershark. While he has a reputation for being a lone wolf, this stems from his Cybershark’s love of thrill seeking than his willingness to be a team player. Brave, adventurous and good-humored, the swashbuckling shark has fought for freedom across hundreds of alien oceans. Cybershark’s greatest flaw is his lack of foresight, his love of adventure and battle often leading him to bite off more than he can chew. While he still has trouble working with a team, he values his crewmates more than anything.
Alt mode: Bio mechanical hammerhead shark.
Inspiration: Beast Wars toy bio.
Notes: Cybershark would have a pirate accent as well.
The predacons that join the ascenticons: The predacons of the Darksyde, radicalized or handpicked by (Beast) Megatron, are some of the most sadistic and cruel cybertronians from the age of beast machines. But a select few have not been completely swayed by their captain. Sensing an opportunity to better understand this new potential threat, Starscream quickly recruits these three into the ascenticons.
Pyro and warrior: Inferno. Born with a unique immunity to pain, Inferno is a cackling pyromaniac with no ambitions beyond serving a cause he sees as worthy. While he was initially thrilled to serve Beast Megatron on the darksyde, he’s not the blindly loyal peon most make him out to be. He’s critical of those that command him and his comrades and sees Megatron’s plans as self-serving and at the detriment of the whole of cybertronian kind. Finding new purpose and comradery in Starscream’s acenticons, Inferno is eager to burn and melt his enemies with a wicked grin on his face.
Alt mode: Bio mechanical ant.
Inspiration: Beast wars Inferno
Notes: Inferno has a verbal tick of calling his superiors Queen, no matter their gender.
Mechanic and reluctant warrior: Waspinator. The sulking and somewhat child-like predacon absolutely hates fighting, not because of any morale quandaries, but because of his rotten luck. Despite only signing on as a mechanic for the darksyde, he’s forced onto the battlefield at almost every opportunity due to his uniquely durable spark chamber. He’s been blown to bits and torn apart more times than he can count. Thoroughly sick of being a punching bag, he was all too grateful for a chance to join the ascenticons. While he much prefers repairing broken equipment, Waspinator is still a good shot with his stinger pistol.
Alt mode: Bio mechanical Wasp.
Inspiration: Beast Wars and 2021 comic Waspinator
Notes: I just wanna give this boy a happy ending where he isn’t constantly blown up or embarrassed.
Demolitions expert: Retrax. Joining the predacons was the biggest mistake of Retrax’s life. Although he came into the faction with wide eyes and a patriotic sense of duty, the sadistic and megalomaniacal crew of the darksyde turned him into an anxious and cowardly mess. Despite becoming a faint-hearted neurotic, he’s tries and succeeds greatly at his job. An expert in explosives, combined with a hardy shell and ability to dig tunnels, makes Retrax a force to be reckoned with once he works up the courage.
Alt mode: Bio mechanical pill bug.
Inspiration: Beast Wars Toy
Notes: I just think he’s neat.
Terrorcons: Heralds and worshipers of Unicron.
Leader and hunter: Darklaw. Equal parts menacing and mysterious, Darklaw is a fearsome hunter and leader of the terrorcons. His body is covered in the insignia badges of all that he’s killed, but his skills in combat prove his ferocity more then the badges ever could. Oozing with confidence, everyone who doesn’t know who he serves get the impression that he’s laughing at a punchline that the rest of them don’t get. Darklaw knows the power of Unicron makes him untouchable, and he’s willing to do whatever the chaos killer commands him to do.
Alt mode: Truck
Inspiration: Rise of the Beasts Scourge
Notes: We’d find out that this is future Scourge from the Beast Machines timeline where Unicron wipes out most of the galaxy. One of the climatic battles is between our Scourge and Darklaw.
Sabotage expert and warrior: Battletrap. Unrelenting and bloodthirsty, Battletrap relishes any opportunity to fight for his dark master. Once an unassuming Junkion, this heavily armored enforcer uses every dirty trick and morally bankrupt tactic to get the upper hand on his enemies. He especially loves to spread mines and trip wires across the battlefield. Whoever Battletrap was before becoming a herald for Unicron is long dead inside, replaced with a simple-minded and hate filled soldier.
Alt mode: Tow truck
Inspiration: Rise of the Beasts Battletrap
Notes: I’d add a bit of tragedy to him, showing what happens to an average guy when he succumbs to corruption and warfare.
Ninja Assassin: Nightbird. Before becoming one of Unicron’s heralds, Nightbird was a prototype robot built by an unknown alien race for the purpose of fighting cybertronians. Slightly haughty but usually silent, the assassin wastes no time when she sets her sights on her opponents. Deadly with a blade and as quiet as a whisper, most don’t see her attacks coming until it’s too late. With no previous life before Unicron claimed her, Nightbird’s loyalty and worship of the chaos killer is absolute.
Alt mode: Sports car
Inspiration: Rise of the Beast and G1 Nightbird
Notes: After Beast Megatron gets Unicron into a Matrix created by Jhiaxus, Nightbird has a crisis of faith. How could the dark god be contained and controlled like this? She eventually learns to think for herself and forge her own path.
Former underlings of Nova Prime: Infected by dark energon, Nova and some of his crew went into self-exile. These three scientists are all that remain. They resist the temptations of the chaos killer and work to subdue him once and for all.
Weapons engineer and commander: Jhiaxus. Once considered a close friend of Nova Prime and a passionate mind, dark energon has left Jhiaxus cold and stoic. Through sheer will and the aid of his assistant, Cloudcover, Jhiaxus is able to resist the dark urges that Unicron forces onto his team. With a raw hatred for the chaos killer and an unmatched sense of cybertronian pride, Jhiaxus plans on containing Unicron and focusing the chaos killer’s godlike power into a matrix of unimaginable power. Due to his belief the cybertronians were the most superior species in the galaxy, he chose to ally himself with both Megatrons.
Alt mode: Cybertronian Jet
Inspiration: G2 and bits of IDW Jhiaxus
Notes: A combination of amoral scientist Jhiaxus and stoic warrior holding back anger Jhiaxus. He’s also the creator of Battle Master technology, where minicons can upgrade themselves into weapons for larger bots to wield.
Chemist: Cloudcover. A medical and chemical expert of great renown, Cloudcover discovered how to best resist the whispers of Unicron and the right components to create a matrix. These discoveries caused the already arrogant bot to become a full-blown narcissist with a penchant for wise cracking. Despite his overconfidence, his skills in chemical warfare are subpar at best. The primary source of inspiration for the decepticon squad known as the rainmakers, Cloudcover relies heavily on long distance fighting and altering the terrain to his advantage with his concoctions.
Alt mode: Combat jet (retool of Starscream)
Inspiration: G2 Cloudcoveer and Beast Machines Jetstorm (personality wise)
Notes: I just like the legacy toy’s color scheme and to give Jhiaxus a main scientist to work with.
Mutation and Warrior: Toxitron. Born with a mutated body that leaks deadly acid, Toxitron was a lonely and self-hating nomad until a chance encounter with Nova Prime changed things. Through the guidance of the Prime and his friends, the acidic warrior learned to control his destructive power and use it for good. He owes Jhiaxus and Cloudcover everything, but he disagrees with their philosophy of cybertronian dominance over all life. While he struggles to control his anger and comes off as simple-minded, he’s a soft-hearted soul who wants to share the empathy that was given to him so long ago.
Alt Mode: Truck (retool of Optimus)
Inspiration: Most incarnations of Toxitron
Notes: Tragic Frankenstein monster bot is a favorite of mine, despite not reading any of his stories.

I both hate and love that there is a lack of exploration on Cybertron’s wildlife. Seems like there’s dragons and weird weeds and shit that Cybertronians just completely brought to extinction and they never really talk about how that’s Sad . They never mourn it. I don’t think any Cybertronian is even familiar with their own fauna and flora besides turbofoxes, and the only who might recall is Arcee and that’s never explored.
The fact it’s not explored leaves so much room for you to just bullshit around it. Caves seem notorious in Cybertron, it’s a planet filled with holes, there’s gotta be wildlife that adapts to it. Maybe not everything lives off Energon, maybe some wildlife has adapted to eat PURE Energon, straight from the stone or source, with all its impurities. Maybe that makes their blood rich and puts them at the bottom of a food chain, allows them to be hunted, allows for an ecosystem to grow from that. Maybe even those predators can eat pure Energon sometimes, so we get herbivores and carnivores and omnivores.
Weaver plays on the idea of Cybertronians just, destroying all that to build incredible cities that require nothing of the sort. Cybertron is a techno-planet, but certainly it started to die when the ecosystems began thinning out and eventually being wiped out completely, herbivores being stopped from eating Energon, or being used to purify it without much trouble. The cybertronian equivalent to a deer being hunted en-masse for its pure-Energon rich blood, among others. Predators being chased off.
Now of course not all these beasts would have only one mode! Maybe the bigger ones turn into giant guys too. Most probably do, they just find it more comfortable to be in their beast form, like Tigatron and overall how the maximals enjoy being animals. It’s, Yknow, at their core. We get a bit of that with the colonies, I suppose! Maybe they were a part of this ecosystem. Those who managed to hear the word left.
Weaver is a Wyvern, a dragon whose arms are wings. That’s a big dinosaur. And his whole play in the ecosystem, his species at least, was living in cave systems and finding the most mineral rich ones to reside in for most of their lives. They hunted small animals that wandered in, completely nocturnal animals, evolved to hunt in complete darkness and in small spaces. Their parts can shift and change and their bones are hollow, so they look heavy but actually aren’t, not a weight that indicates to their size, anyway. They’re heavy, just not as much as you’d expect.
They had courting rituals, and they had defense mechanisms, and they liked art and pretty things. Their outer shells are fragile, so they’d cover themselves with stones and gems, and they couldn’t directly eat Energon gems so they’d use that to decorate their horns. They are entirely evasive, don’t enjoy fighting because of their fragile nature, and will often flee and hide in things. They use a lot of fuel but are not 100% carnivorous, they can convert mixtures of minerals into an Energon replacement, and they expel excessive heat through their horns (which open at the end like pipes) and they can spit fire, though that one’s a little harder to do and requires them to nearly overheat, so it’s not particularly safe. One of their most strange and effective evasion tactics is shadow travel: they can hide amidst complete darkness, almost in a pocket dimension, but this is a last resort as it eats up all of their Energon reserves and leaves them tired after. There is a time limit, but time passes differently once you’re in this pocket dimension, so 5 minutes in could be close to 500 years outside.
These creatures are wiped out eventually, they are incredibly defensive of their cave/territory and because of their choice for a home, their territory were often targets for mining. Most would die trying to defend them, some would die from Energon depletion, and some, like weaver, would try to show they were like the people trying to harm him by transforming. This never ended well. For weaver, they forcibly stopped him from transforming back (he managed to hide for many years and keep his cave, by the time he resurfaced there were already inhibitors and he was very much at the near beginning of the Decepticon movement) and tore his claws, his horns, and anything in him he could potentially use as a weapon. Every piece of him that’s red are replacements to originals, he was essentially declawed lol. He felt immense amounts of pain and was forced to work as a miner since he was big, and his root mode is much much stronger and more resilient than his alt.
Eer. He’s got stones and he likes makeup because it reminds him of covering himself in stones, he’s very proud of all that. He chooses red specifically for his replacements because it pops out and shows that they’re out of place, that he’s out of place.

New arrival: Generation One (Retro Headmasters) - Skullcruncher and Grax
Alternate mode: robotic crocodilian (original English packaging called it an alligator, but other sources, including more modern ones, call it a crocodile)
"Autobots are like bad fuel - weak and greasy!"

Skullcruncher is one of the Decepticons serving under Scorponok (the G1 one). Brutish and slow, he'd be an excellent ambush hunter- if it wasn't for his habit of grinding his beast mode teeth shortly before attacking.
No one really wants to squad up with him due to ruining stealth, and this has caused a compulsion to develop in the croc. He greedily consumes the bodies of fallen Autobots, and has a functional digestive system to turn their parts into his for rapid regeneration. This further reinforces his reputation as an animalistic brute.
The exact nature of Grax depends on which version of the G1 continuity you're talking about. Sometimes, Grax IS Skullcruncher, using the larger crocodile transformer as a mech suit. Sometimes, he's an ancient Titan Master, a very small type of Cybertronian that used to perform internal maintenance on Titans before they joined the war. Sometimes, he's a corrupt alien businessman from Nebulos, one of the Nebulans who made a deal with the Decepticons. Either way, broadly speaking, Grax is the head and is now a primarly or exclusively mechanical lifeform.

I'm super stoked to have Skullcruncher in my collection now. I've been a fan since I got back into transformers but haven't made the time until now. My headphones started to go out, losing sound in one cup. I figured, might as well...
I love me a good croc.

Transformers: What's a Shellformer?
Something that’s important to remember in all Transformers media is that Transformers are toys that are meant to be bought and played with by children. The stories, the worlds, the media impact they have on us and the low key obssession I think it gave me with what if thing was also another thing that eventually blossomed into full blown werewolf narrative that somehow became foundational to a lot of my own creative output. But they change, is the thing. They are toys that change that are made for children, and one of the byproducts of that is sometimes you’ll see toys that get called ‘shellformers,’ often with a degree of disdain.
A shellformer is a term used to refer to a transformer where the transformation is, rather than the rearrangement or repositioning of parts of the design, but instead the removal/opening up of a shaped shell that rests around the body of the robot.
This isn’t to say this is strictly speaking, a bad choice, and it has its places. Particularly, there are a lot of Transformers that are designed for children — I mean all Transformers toys are made for children — but there are Transformers designed for children young enough they may struggle with things like ‘complex transformation sequences’ and ‘standing up.’ A bunch of Transformers ‘transform’ by just effectively laying on their face, and that’s not a thing to be mad about because again, these toys are largely there to be played with by little kids. No shade.
Transformers also sometimes feature what I think of as ‘false fronts.’ Sometimes you’ll get a toy where the ‘vehicle’ (or object or animal or whatever) mode that it used to be has say, shapes and forms like the top of the car or the sides of the doors, and then when it’s transformed, the pieces of the toy that make that top or sides aren’t used to then represent those pieces on the transformed robot. This is a very minor thing to be mad about, and make no mistake, I am a little bit mad about it, but I’m not mad enough about it to complain about it here. You can make a case that they’re a ‘shellformer’ – in that they have parts that are purely for the forming of a shell around the robot toy – but if they are on that spectrum, it’s on my personal ‘mad’ side of the line, and complaining about them seems silly to me.
It’s also not about transformers where there’s some big ridiculous bit! Quickstrike has a whole hand that’s a cobra, and I unironically think that rules to death. In Cybertron, Longrack has an arm that’s just the shovel arm of his vehicle form, which is a small step up from his Beast Wars Neo look which was uh, a uh, he uh, his whole arm and fist were a Giraffe’s head, neck, and torso. With its tongue out! In each of these cases, the ‘other’ element is integrated into the way the robot looks that at least makes it look like the Robot is meant to be a Robot that turns into the other form. I find that charming, personally.
The real hallmark in my mind of a true shellformer that’s worth making fun of is a Transformer where if you remove the shelled pieces you could be left with a robot that doesn’t look like it’s missing pieces. Which means, inevitably, the example that’s going to come up is Big Convoy from Beast Wars, which is to say, a character named after a truck who turns into a mammoth and not a truck, and that mammoth is mostly just a bunch of external panels that sit on the outside of the robot that is otherwise just in panto pose of a horse!
If you take all the panels off the Grand Convoy design — which you can do, they’re all socketed! — the mammoth pieces fit together and stand on their own. The robot in the body is barely ‘transformed,’ they’re just holding in a position that anchors those panels on place.
This is the kind of thing that shellformers represent and let me be clear: one of my first Transformers was Scourge, who was absolutely a Shellformer, basically just a bathtub that opened up to let a robot out, and while that toy sucks, I would still absolutely want a Big Convoy Neo Beast Wars, because while shellformers suck… big mastodon robot men are cool.
Thing is if you know the term ‘shellformer’ and you were looking at this article, you kinda knew this was coming. Break is an icon of the shellform, not just because he’s very obviously a little plastic egg with a robot inside, but also, the effect is being used to make a Transformer that turns into something so obviously and blatantly silly as a Threatening Penguin.
Remember, these are meant to blend in to places! That means that at biggest Break’s penguin form could be is a meter tall. That means the robot inside him is smaller than that, and like, what is a robot that small for in a warfare situation? Well, in the show he’s from, he’s aiming to become the best and the leader of the Autobots!
He’s a tiny little angry man and he sucks and the form they decided to put him in was a penguin and look at how stupid the toy looks in the attempt to make that happen!! This isn’t a shellformer in aid of a gorilla or a t-rex or a cool dragon! This was a goofy shellform design to make a penguin happen! Someone was like: Well, we’re going to have to make some sacrifices here, but we can, with all this moulding, achieve the dream of a penguin and also he can be held with a gun in his butt to pretend he’s an even bigger gun.
Shellformers are are interesting, but also, notably, if you’re at all invested in the space, they are undeniably, some of the silliest looking Transformers in the franchise. And this is a franchise with a lot of silly looking characters.
Like Break!

Solitude provides an empty space for you to sink into your inner dimensions. Connecting you to the real source of your existence.
This space can be used to process, transform and transmute lower frequency vibration into higher frequency vibrations.
Provides a space for introspection which can further help in breaking the default mode network of the mind and brain.
Makes you resilient to changes in outside world.
It gives you total freedom to negotiate the dynamics of all your relations. There will be no need to compromise, as you already have experienced the power of Solitude.
Other relations would have to surpass that threshold of divinity that you have cultivated in Solitude.
Loneliness is the poverty of self; solitude is the richness of self. There is no lonliness in true Solitude.
Whosoever is delighted in solitude is either a wild beast or a god. -Aristotle

Transformers: Primacy #1
Read Date: May 19, 2023 Cover Date: August 2014 ● Story: Chris Metzen ◦ Flint Dille ● Art: Livio Ramondelli ● Letterer: Chris Mowry ● Editor: John Barber ●

**HERE BE SPOILERS: Skip ahead to the fan art/podcast to avoid spoilers
Reactions As I Read: ● the IDW Transformers art is consistently stunning ● the mirroring of politics in the real world—10 years after this issue came out—is both haunting and depressing ● Optimus heading toward a Fortress of Solitude

● poor Hot Rod ● I never get tired of the sense of awe the artists are able to instill at the sheer size of some of these things. first Trypticon. now an Omega Sentinel ● 👏👏👏👏👏
Synopsis: In the aftermath of Trypticon's rampage, Cybertron is experiencing a lull in the burgeoning Autobot-Decepticon war. At Maccadam's Old Oil House, Hot Rod, fresh out of the Autobot Academy, tries and fails to convince an acquaintance that Optimus Prime and his government aren't just as bad as what came before. Leaving the bar, the freshly-minted Autobot encounters an old friend – Slinger, his co-conspirator from his days as an insurgent in Nyon. Hot Rod's old friend has never forgiven him for killing that city's inhabitants to prevent them being drained by the vamparc ribbons, and has joined up with the Decepticons. Declaring that his new comrades are the "real power" on Cybertron, Slinger leaves his former ally with a warning to watch his back.
In Cybertron's southern polar region, Optimus Prime and Ironhide scale the Grav-Haraan glacier, the Autobot leader having taken a sabbatical to clear his mind after the recent battle. Ironhide nearly slips from the icy cliff, but eventually the duo reach its summit. Against the odds, though, they are not alone – on the horizon, Ironhide spies a large object with a significant energon signature.
In Metroplex, deep in the heart of Iacon, Kup and Ultra Magnus anxiously await the completion of Ratchet's operation upon Grimlock. Arriving late, Hot Rod learns that Grimlock was the last of the Dynobots to receive this treatment, purging him of the tainted energon that brought on his atavistic alternate mode. Emerging from the operating theater, Ratchet gives Grimlock a clean bill of health, and reveals that he's managed to restore the Dynobots' original alternate modes, bringing them up to the same fighting shape they were in when they served in the Primal Vanguard. Upon meeting him, Hot Rod voices his admiration towards the Dynobots, knowing of them from tales of the Primal Vanguard's glory days. Grimlock rebukes him, saying that a recruit fresh from the academy will have to earn his respect, or even simply his trust.
In the ruins of Harmonex, a fully repaired Megatron waxes loquacious over the inert form of Trypticon. Calling upon the stolen spark of Pentius that they have each borne in turn, Megatron manages to rouse the gargantuan beast, only to find that it now bears the consciousness of the slain Quintesson. However he finds that his former guide has found new purpose within this engine of destruction, a purpose he shares with Megatron: the breaking of a world.
Traversing the glacier, Optimus and Ironhide approach a monolithic structure, only to find it to be the source of the energon signature they'd detected. As they near the structure they find it to be the watchful form of an Omega Sentinel.
Megatron is skeptical of Trypticon, knowing the treachery Pentius was capable of. Trypticon confesses that his memories are a confusing tangle, of which he is uncertain of the source. However through the spark bond that they share, Trypticon shows Megatron what he recalls: Cybertron, desolate after a "battle of gods"; another world, broken asunder; the Quintessons, and the death and destruction they have wrought on others. This overwhelms the revolutionary, for while his ruthlessness is known, the sheer depths of such evil are not something he can stand. Trypticon assures him that he will understand in time.
Hailing the Omega Sentinel, Optimus discovers that it has stood vigil since the disappearance of Nova Prime. The Sentinel turns Optimus and Ironhide away, saying he awaits the return of the Prime. Optimus reveals that he bears the Matrix, and the Sentinel reacts with disbelief and despair when he learns that Nova is long gone. Regardless, he is prepared to serve this young Prime, and ferry him back to civilization. As the Autobots board his alternate mode, the Sentinel reveals his name to them: Omega Supreme.
Back in Harmonex, Megatron musters the Decepticons around Trypticon. He announces to them that he wishes to prepare for an all-out assault, but due to Scorponok many abandoned the Decepticon cause. He says that they will be leaving Cybertron with Trypticon in order to re-gather the Decepticon army.
Aboard Sky Linx, Hot Rod marvels at the rebuilt Toraxxis mega-refinery, now drawing directly from the cavernous reserves of the region and purifying the tainted energon. Cybertron's energon shortage seems to be solved for the foreseeable future, but this may be too little, too late after the exodus of much of the population. Grimlock doesn't share the young recruit's enthusiasm, as being near Toraxxis dredges up too many bad memories for him. Hot Rod pushes back against the veteran, incensed that Grimlock is this self-absorbed. A scuffle nearly ensues, before Sky Linx announces that they've passed Toraxxis and now are over Harmonex. To the astonishment of all, Trypticon is missing.
In orbit above Cybertron, Trypticon's alternate mode is revealed as a massive space-borne fortress. Within, Shockwave reports to Megatron that his navigational preparations are complete, and the Decepticons take to the stars.
